Vhara Farm is a private classical training facility. We specialize in pure classical non violent methodology. Ana Marie SawyerTurner is head trainer and assistant trainer handler Shelley Lund. We do have sellective sale horses as well. We host Alex Gerding Clinics on a regular basis as well as bio-mechanic clinics the first Sat of each month. We work in hand, ground drive, gymnastics, ride out and formal arena work.

Sheridan Creek Equestrian Center formerly known as Sheridan Creek Ranch was purchased in the fall of 2004. The Equestrian Center consists of 36 acres with many amenities. It currently has a large outdoor arena, a 200x85 indoor riding arena, a 7 stall barn with large paddocks and another ten stall barn with 14x16 stalls and attached padocks. The Equestrian Center also boasts a very active children's riding program.

We raise loud colored show quality Appaloosa horses on our alfalfa ranch in Smith Valley, Nevada, one hour southeast of Lake Tahoe. Our ranch house is over 100 years old and we have been raising Appaloosa since the late 1960's. We stand two Appaloosa stallions and always have babies for sale. Boarding offered and horse quality alfalfa/grass hay available for sale. Bed and breakfast as well as overnight stabling for your enjoyment and convienence.

Boarding and personalized care for barefoot horses. We have a 2-acre natural terrain pasture that is shared by 4-6 horses, plus other smaller paddocks. We offer trimming services, and rehab services for horses with health issues, lameness, hoof problems, etc. If your vet has told you it's hopeless, check with us before you give up on your horse.
