Wakonda Farms is a family run business, located in Bethany, CT. Started in 1993, but coming from a lifetime of equine experience, we've educated horses and riders, of all ages, ever since. Carol Popp is a certified trainer and test administrator by the Classical Dressage Riders' Association, USDF Bronze & Silver Medal winner and trainer and winner of over 80 USDF national championships who teaches riders to develop a correct seat, timing of the aids, work in hand, and airs above ground. Carol works with riders of all levels and horses of all breeds. Learn on her schoolmasters at her farm or your own horse, at your farm or hers. Carol is available for lessons and clinics at your farm as well.

Movado Farm offers lessons from beginner thru advanced, on the flat and over fences. If you want to show and compete or just have fun with the animal you love, we will be happy to accomidate your goals.

Freelance instructor and horse trainer for general training in english and western riding. In my program I teach you how to work on your own to improve your horsemanship skills and to keep your horse working with as one team. I use a positive and encouraging approach for you and your horse.

While the Hunt Club offers many recreational options for its members, equestrian activities remain our defining characteristic among area clubs. The club's nationally recognized staff of equitation, pony hunter, hunter/jumper and show jumping trainers provide our riders with the skills and confidence to progress toward the highest levels of competition.

We are a boarding and lesson facility, that focuses on a safe, fun, and affordable experience with horses. We are a quiet, friendly facility, where all discipilines are welcome! We offer private lessons, day-camps for kids, as well as "Pony Talks" where kids in small groups can learn about ponies and their care, and get a taste of the riding experience.
