Owner/Trainer Mrs. Tyler Verlander-Peabody has been riding since before she could walk and has been teaching lessons to children and adults for 15 years. She showed on the local GHJA circuit growing up in Woodstock GA, her experience and training has been with the top GA trainers in the Hunter/Jumper/Equitation discipline. She interned with AA trainers traveling to AA shows all over GA, FL, and the east coast up to Lake Placid, NY. By the time she was 18 years old, she had already successfully managed a 50 person lesson program, summer camp and 20 horse boarding stable. Tyler is an entrepreneur and business woman at heart and utilizes her marketing and management education from KSU to strive in her business. She has trained and sold numerous horses that have gone on to AA show homes and beloved owners. Tyler is passionate about being an advocate for both horse and ride, her students appreciate her detail oriented lessons with safe forward progress each time. Her boarders appreciate her 30 years of equine experience and horse management and trust her top notch care, stemming from her life motto "Leave it better than you found it".

"Why is my horse doing this?!?"

This is the most common response I receive from owner's. At Säker, our mission is simple, no really simple, as in "KISS" (Keep It Surprisingly Simple).

As a student of Säker, you focus on this fundamental principle, "KISS". Why you ask, well I say why not! Most people, especially women (and the horse industry is 2/3rds women), tend to overthink what they consider to be "problems" with their horse. So our mission at Säker is to break down this communication barrier with "KISS". We explain that horse training is 90% common sense (i.e. "Do I really want my horse to do this?"), and 10% know-how ("No, so I will do this instead."). We focus on removing the "emotion factor" (No, your horse is not attempting to drive you mad, well, most of the time.).

"Wait, wait," you say, "But I don't have a horse...". Even better. You get to learn from beginning to end training, care, management, and horse/life lessons without previous influence, and without the barriers put in place by previous riding experiences.
By focusing on "KISS", we are able to produce a more confident you (in the barn, showring, on the trail, and yes, even at work or at school). Säker means confidence. Claudia is a experienced horse trainer and rider. She has been riding all her life and training for several years. She offers her riding lessons to all ages any level. If you're not interested in riding lessons she offers for you to come out and just ride as well. Barrel lessons are available but you must have your own horse. Pole lessons are available too but same goes as you must have your own horse. Interested in just riding and cruising some trails, that is available too!
