A quiet, beautiful country setting and close proximity to Albion College are just two of our many features. With 165 acres of field and wooded trails, large green pastures with plenty of shade, oak fencing, and both an indoor and outdoor arena, your horse will receive the best of care. Owner/trainer Karen Warner has over 40 years experience working with horses. We are located in Ortonville, Michigan, north of Detroit and south of Flint convenient to Interstate 75, US 23 and Interstate 69. The farm is set on 12.5 acres of rolling hills and backs up to the Holly Recreation Area. We cater to riders of all levels who want to bond with their horses and form a partnership allowing them to progress up the dressage training scale. Dressage is extremely beneficial for all horses and riders, no matter what discipline. We are a full care facility providing the highest quality care to your beloved equine. Our stalls range in size from 15x12 to 14x10 all with automatic waterers. We have an indoor arena with sprinkler system and rubber/sand footing. Very large outdoor arena with excellent footing too. HCR sits on 40 acres with trails if that is your passion. We are a multi-discipline barn providing a wonderful place for you and your equine friend with no drama, politics or stressors allowed!!! Located on the west side of Ann Arbor 10 minutes from downtown. 60x120 indoor arena and 100x200 outdoor arena, both dust controlled. Also outdoor roundpen and access to trails. Horses fed twice daily, stalls cleaned daily. Turnout in small groups in large grass pastures. We offer quality English and Western lessons for every level rider from the beginner to world show competitor. Rose Sheffer, also holds weekly clinics focusing on patterns, traffic awarness, horsemanship, showmanship, trail, and jumping. Boarding provides 60 X 120 Indoor arena, 100 X 250 outdoor arena, 20 acres of divided grass pasture turnout and a fun friendly atmosphere. We also offers training from colt starting to polishing the broke show horse and every type of horse in between.
