I specialize in the barefoot horse, keeping them barefoot and healthy however, I do believe there is a time an place for shoes depending on corrective work and discipline. I do believe that for most horses, there are so many things that can be done to achieve a healthy horse and hoof while keeping them barefoot!

I always show up when scheduled and do not mind traveling. Horse must be safe and not be considered a danger to work on. :-)

I have been providing trimming and shoeing services for the greater Lansing area for the past 2 years part time. I will start an apprenticeship with 3R Forge and Farriery (David Hallock) in August of 2016. 2023 Graduate of MSU Farrier school with 2 years experience apprenticing under a 30+ year farrier and assisting with Farrier cases at Saginaw Valley Equine Clinic. Looking to rebuild my clientele after a year long hiatus due to a National Guard deployment. Based out of Midland Michigan, typically stay within a 60 mile radius but willing to go father for a travel fee.
