I am a retired Police Chief who has been a practicing Farrier since 2008. I went to school to learn to do my own horses and never intended to make a dime from it or do anybody else's horses, but word spread and it's turned into something bigger and better than we ever thought. We get paid to work around horses!!! It seems that the higher up you went in law enforcement, the more political it became.
