I am a dressage instructor, trained at the National French riding school for 15 years. I have trained with Philippe Karl and Alain Francois. I have trained my own horses to Grand Prix level and competed while at the French Riding School. I taught the Spanish Olympic Eventing Team for a World Games. I have proven skills as an instructor! I can unwind the mistakes that you are having and allow your horse to be better! You WILL improve I promise! I do it all the time! Everyone needs dressage for their horse, whether you are trying to get to a fence in a balanced way or you are trying to advance from level 1 to level 2 in dressage and can't do it! Training is available for dressage, jumping, trail riding, ground manners, trailer loading, behavioral problems, and starting young horses. Heron Mead Equestrian Center's Owner and Head Trainer, Kari Stenberg, has a unique method with long lasting solutions for specific problems. Combining classical European dressage and eventing with Natural Horsemanship and her sharp eye for horse health and soundness, Kari trains effectively yet gently and brings out the best in each horse.

Training is customized for each horse. Specific goals and the amount of training will be discussed during the initial consultation. Special care is taken to include owner input throughout the entire training process.

Kari has successfully trained many ex-racehorses for careers as show or pleasure horses; started young horses for the track, show ring, and trail; and fixed behavioral issues both on the ground and under saddle. Anecia Delduco is a USDF silver and bronze medalist rider, with experience showing through the Grand Prix level. Although dressage is her specialty, she has experience in eventing, hunter/jumpers, and foxhunting, as well. She is a skilled instructor and trainer and has produced many horses from breaking through FEI. Her current FEI horse, Captain Morgan, is a homebred KWPN whom she’s trained from day 1. Anecia is an excellent instructor for riders of all levels. Her students range from those just wanting to ride for the love of the sport to those who compete regularly and want to move up the levels. I have 30 years experience teaching, training and competing through the FEI levels of dressage. I am a USDF silver medalist, USDF Certified Instructor, and L graduate. I work with dressage horses and riders of all levels, from beginner through Grand Prix.

USDF Bronze medalist Sandy Kantor has many years of experience starting and training young horses. She also takes older horses in training to improve their ridability for the owner. Sandy will combine training with lessons to teach the owner to ride the horse to their full potential. Krystle has years of experience and knowledge in training and coaching horses and riders from lower levels through out the higher levels. Originally born in The Netherlands (Europe). She trained/educated under renowned instructors in The Netherlands.

Krystle is known for having such an amazing way with horses on the ground and in the saddle. Krystle's training sessions are known for being positive and effective. Krystle is talented in reading horses and riders, she brings out the best in each session.

Open to train to Dressage riders, Jumpers, Eventers as Krystle believes Dressage flat work is an essential part of training for any horse in any discipline.

Training sessions are open to riders and horses from lower level dressage to professional com-petitioners. Krystle doesn’t judge riders, she’s known for being positive and honest at all levels.

This year my situation has changed some and allows me to teach at home and travel.
I would love to connect with barns that are looking for an additional trainer to come in weekly or monthly that specializes in helping riders of all disciplines find balance and harmony with their horse.

As a competitor/trainer and a judge, I am able to bring both perspectives to lessons.
I specifically compete in the sport of Dressage and Eventing, but I have been bringing the basics of dressage to other disciplines for years.
All of my students that jump can attest to why flatwork is crucial to building a more rideable and balanced round and how that transfers into our jump lessons.
I am especially passionate about educating all riders about correct communication with our equine partners.

Major Beale was a reserve rider for the British Equestrian Team for the 1960 & 1964 Olympic Games in Rome and Tokyo and won the Prestigious Burghley 3 Day Event in 1965. In recent years he re-entered the competitive arena in the field of dressage, competing with much success through Grand Prix and has earned his USDF Gold Medal. Major Beale has an extensive clinic circuit, which takes him the length and breadth of the country, as well as abroad.
