We are a small horse farm in Ferrisburgh with 30+ years experience in breeding/training/lessons. We raise and train our horses using Natural Horsemanship techniques. We are family oriented and teach Beginner -> Advanced English and Western equitation using balance seat techniques. We offer one-on-one lessons and group lessons, trail lessons and obstacle work and retraining or training board. All ages and breeds welcome. Will travel to other locations. Can use your horse or ours. We have indoor and outdoor rings and access to many trails. We schedule lessons on weekends and some evenings by appt. $25 per 1/2 hour or group lessons $40/hour. Our small farm focuses on learning about horseback riding through games and fun! We work with children on the basics and get them ready to continue their learning in whatever discipline they want to advance in (ie: jumping, dressage, western pleasure, trail, etc). Unlike most riding programs, we don't have an age requirement as this is all about safe fun and doing whatever keeps your little rider happy and focused! We have lots of experience with kids camps, family riding, trail and camping trips with horses, and even adults deciding to venture into the world of horses. Worried about being judged for taking up riding at an older age? Not here! We just want to see you relax and enjoy being around and on a horse.
