Ian Garbarini / Farrier in Canandaigua, New York

A native of Maine, Ian grew up around horses and his connection to them has only grown over the years. Familiar with all aspects of horse care and barn management, as well as the show circuit, he found being a farrier an opportunity to positively change the lives of the animals that he cares so deeply for. In 2004 he graduated from the Cornell Farrier program under Michael Wildenstein. Shoeing independently now for more than a decade, Ian specializes in therapeutic and corrective shoeing for all disciplines. While he has many years experience specifically with Hunters/Jumpers/Dressage, Ian also welcomes the chance to work with beloved pleasure horses.
