Joslyn Seefeldt, APF- III - Serving Central Florida, primarily Levy, Marion, and Alachua counties. Horses, ponies, miniatures, donkeys, and mules welcome. No drafts. We recommend keeping most horses on a 4 week rotation - Florida is tough on hooves!

We are proud members of the IAPF(International Assocation of Professional Farriers). Joslyn has passed the 400 question Credentialing course through IAPF with a perfect score! She has also completed and passed the Nutrition as well as the Dressage courses.

Barefoot & Sound Hoofcare is now a multi-farrier practice! 2nd generation Farrier Sam Seefeldt has joined the practice. Sam will be completing a 2 year internship with Barefoot & Sound Hoofcare before accepting his own clients.

We will be offering haul in service for those outside of our normal range.

Experienced female barefoot hoofcare professional with over 20 years experience. Completed the AANHCP program. I have attended several Pete Ramey clinics. I am well versed in all aspects of barefoot hoofcare. I have a special interest in laminitic and metabolic horses. I have completed Eleanor Kellon's coursework, including the following courses: NRC Plus, Nutrition as Therapy, Cushings and Insulin Resistance, Understanding Bloodwork, and Comprehensive Care of the Older Horse.

I have extensive experience in the application of all types of glue on hoof protection, including EasyCare, Renegade, Epona, and GluShu products.

Currently stocking EasyCare glue on horse shoes, including the Easyboot GlueOns, Octos, LoveChilds, and Versas. I also carry a limited supply of GluShu products.
Hoofcasting either over the barefoot or with the application of a steel or aluminum horseshoe available.
Hoof Armor application available for those wanting to keep their horses barefoot, while offering hoof protection.

I love to work with older horses, shy horses, as well as horses that have had difficulties with male farriers.

Former endurance rider with several equines, over 5000 competition miles on barefoot horses.
I have 9 equines of my own, including 2 mules. I love to work with shy, cautious donkeys and mules!
