Also willing to work for a smaller facility in management or training and Lessons

I have a background in low level hunters, jumpers and eventing, however I have groomed up to the "A's". My forte is dressage, french classical to be precise. I have participated with my own horses who I have fully trained myself in clinics with John Lassatter, Edo Hoekstra. I have ridden for many years under MH Lessard (this is where my eventing background came from, she has regrettably deceased almost a year ago now) as well as Frank Grelo and a long time student of his.

I have an extensive background in handling stallions, young horses from new born all the way up as well as classical in hand training and long lining. In fact, all horses I work with are trained in long lining and in hand as I find it allows the horse to figure themselves out while learning new movements without the weight or confusion of a rider as well. Especially with babies. This also makes it possible to start young horses without ever putting weight on their back or overworking them mentally. With babies this allows them to learn impeccable manners as well. It also makes the backing process much less of a mind blowing experience as they for the most part understand about moving off pressure, rein pressure as well as touch points along the barrel that will be used further along with training be it forward or lateral.

I also strongly believe exposing horses in training to anything and everything to include trails if available. I believe trails to be an important part of training as it allows the horse to relax his mind and further understand the relationship and trust we want to achieve all throughout the training journey.

I also strongly encourage owners to be a part of the entire training process, so you can see, ask questions and I can explain things along the way. This also allows you to get hands on experience so you can continue working with your horse while I am not there.

As far as clients go, I am very good with all riders, especially nervous riders to include regaining confidence in jumping. I won't teach or train jumping over 2'9 as that does go beyond me! I can provide many references for training as well as teaching.

I can teach and train up to 2nd/3rd level. Lessons you must have your own horse as at this time I have not brought mine to the area.
Lessons are $45
Training is usually $35 but will give discounts to multiple horses at one barn. On site training now available out of Lake Trail Stables.
