Meadowsweet Ranch Horsemanship Camps / Horse Camp in Spring Grove, Illinois

We offer summer camps in three categories. Pony Camps for ages 4-6 and Horsemanship Day Camps for ages 7-12 and Teen Week for ages 13-19. Each camp offers age appropriate activities on, off and around the horses.
Pony Camps: Introduce the young pony enthusiast to the magical world of horses. Educational time, craft, games and lots of pony time from grooming and tacking to riding enjoying balance improvement exercises and riding games.
Horsemanship Camps: Each camp session has a specific theme for the week. Educational time, games, possible guest speakers and/or field trips are all theme based.
Meadowsweet Ranch Horsemanship Camp is the fun way for your child to develop skills that lead to lifelong success. Communication; cooperation; compassion; responsibility; patience; focus; creativity; leadership; and team work. Each day will include hands-on experience in horse care, handling, riding, behavior and communication.
Teen week is a more advanced camp with more advanced horsemanship skills worked on and more time spent with the horses. Teens that register will be given the opportunity to have some input as to the activities that will be a part of the camp week.
