Cedar Ridge Equines Summer Horse Camps! / Horse Camp in Bozeman, Montana

Cedar Ridge Equines strives to offer a safe, educational and fun environment for all of our campers and horses. We offer beginner, intermediate and advanced horsemanship camps (day & overnight camps available). We feel that it is very important that all our campers learn a variety of equestrian events and disciplines from English & Western equitation, to dressage & western & cowboy dressage, to trail riding competitive and recreational to rodeo events such as barrels, poles, goat tying, and roping. We have quality camp horses available although you are welcome to bring your own horse. All of our instructors have an extensive background in horses and enjoy working with youth. In all our CRE Summer Horsemanship Camps, we believe it is important to teach life skill development and personal growth as an intricate component of our horsemanship program. After conducting several educational studies on life skill development through the use of horses, we found it most effective to teach about responsibility, relationships, communication, leadership, and team work through horse safety and care; haltering, tying and leading a horse; horse behavior observation and horse anatomy; and on-the-ground horsemanship. At the end of each camp week campers are able to participate in a horse show or rodeo and parents/family are invited to come and watch!
