Does your child want to horse around, because our horses love to have fun!
Come join us this summer at the SummerWinds Stables for a fun-filled week long summer day camp. On our beautiful 200 acre estate, we will learn about all things horse! For the beginner rider, we will learn the basics of western and english riding. Our advanced students can perfect their show skills, jumping, cross country or western pleasure skills to get ready for the show ring!

Our camps at the SummerWinds Stables are designed to be fun and educational. Our 160-acre waterfront facility is perfect for all things equestrian! Our day camp is filled with all the aspects of horse care needed to own your own horse. In addition, we love to teach about other aspects of horses – like racing, showing, rescue and competitive trail riding! Our campers will eat, breathe and live horses all day- perfect for your horse crazy kid! Every day holds a long riding session and campers get to experience western, english and bareback riding. We will experience trail rides, with an emphasis on trail riding safety!



We will accept any level of riding experience in the camp riders. Whether it is your first time around horses or if you have your own horse and just want to improve your skills, our camp will surely be a blast! Our goal is to help our campers achieve a confidence and a love for the sport that will carry them for years to come!



This camp is all hands-on! We think the best way to teach is to interact fully while learning new skills! Campers learn to saddle, groom, pick feet, bathe and clip the horses. Our horses love the attention and all the sparkles brought on by our horse-crazy campers! We will also have guest speakers, and campers will make a craft to bring home at the end of camp. On our last day, join us for our “Cowpoke Cookout” and fun show – where Campers can show off their new skills to family and friends!
