Skyward Pines Equestrian Center Summer Youth Camp / Horse Camp in Elizabeth City, North Carolina

Summer Horse Camp is for campers (8 - 17 years old) who love horses. Our program focuses on all things related to horses including English or Western riding lessons (up to 2 hours per day depending on skill level and planned activities), stable management, care and grooming of horses, methods of preparing for horse shows. All instruction is tailored to the skill level and specific needs of each camper from beginner (steering, post-trotting/jog, basic pole-work, etc.) to more advanced (seat and position in canter, jumping, and pattern work, etc.).

We will only be accepting 6 campers per week in order to provide more riding time for each camper. Campers DO NOT SHARE HORSES. Each camper will be assigned a horse/pony for the entire week that they will be responsible for caring for. At our camp the youth will be hands on horses most of the time that they are here.
