Durrer Equestrian / Horse Boarding Farm in Acton, California

Sarah Durrer has been competing and riding with various hunter/jumper/eq trainers since 1998. Such trainers include Cyndi Merritt of Baycrest Farms, Halli Bidwell of Brenric Stables and trainer of the Allegheny College Equestrian team. Durrer has also ridden with clinicians: Bernie Traurig, Rob Gage, Will Simpson and more. Durrer also trains with Jane Shaw of Thumbs Up Riding. Her passion lies in the jumper ring but she also excels at equitation and has recently delved more into the hunter ring successfully. Durrer was also successful on the Allegheny College Equestrian team, placing 1st in her region as the Open Rider Champion aka Regional Cacchione Cup Champion which earned her a spot to compete at the 2014 IHSA Nationals in the Cacchione Cup class. She now trains and shows young horses in all three rings as well as teaching regular weekly lessons. She also offers horse boarding and care along with or separate from training and lessons.
