Hilltop Stables and Arena / Horse Boarding Farm in Fairfield, Iowa

Hilltop Stables and Arena, located 2.5 miles south of Fairfield, IA is a fun, family friendly facility with an emphasis on mutual respect, safety, and teamwork.

All horses here have access to unlimited pasture, including quality round bales (as needed), with newly installed heated automatic waterers in each pasture or lit. Boarding includes use of both the indoor and outdoor arenas, on site trailer parking, and a secure shared tack/feed storage room. The tack room has an attached lounge with a large viewing window of the indoor arena and small fridge for all riders' convenience.

The indoor arena is perfect for all weather riding and training, and includes an assortment of barrels, poles, cones, balls, and trail obstacles for training, desensitizing, and various creative fun. The outdoor arena features a small jump course for a variety of disciplines and levels, particularly eventers and hunters.

Also included is a small but expanding trail system around some beautiful features, as well.

- Brinton Timbers; 30 minutes outside Brighton

- Pioneer Ridge; 35 minutes outside Bloomfield
(includes overnight camping amenities)

- Shimek Forest; just under an hour outside Farmington
(includes overnight camping stalls and an all-weather trail system as well as variety of traditional dirt trails)

Hilltop welcomes riders of all disciplines, ages, and skill levels to out close knit, kid friendly facility. All boarding is self care, which means boarders are responsible for aspects of their horses feeding, grooming, stall cleaning, blanketing/sheeting, exercising, veterinary & farrier care, and all other daily care aspects.
