Suzi Sturgell, at Sturgell's Equestrian Center, LLC: I was certified in 1987 as a Master Instructor by CHA (Now, Certified Horseman Association). I have been giving riding lessons longer than that, both English and Western. I love helping beginner students, both adult and youth, learn to properly handle and ride horses. With the intermediate student, I can help them understand riding and handling better, and help them become better riders and communicators with their horse. Though I can help the more advanced rider, I find that they may need an instructor who can help them in the show arena or in advanced techniques that would more require an instructor of expertise in their area of interest. So I tend to refer the advanced student on. I offer private, semi-private, group instruction, and day clinics, at my own place or within driving distance. I have been an active horsewoman for 45 years, and have certifications and degrees in many equine fields. I have an AA/AAS in equine training from CSC, a Master Instructor certification from CHA, and am a certified EMR. I also hold a certification as a veterinarian assistant. I have been involved in many jobs of equine work through the years. You will find that I am experienced, qualified and knowledgeable. I can offer references from past and present students/clients (adult and youth, and parents).
