Mane on Fire Farm is a small, private Holsteiner and Dutch Warmblood breeding farm located just 45 minutes from downtown Dallas.
Mane on Fire's specialty is well bred warmbloods designed to succeed in dressage, hunters, jumpers, and eventing. We have a variety of broodmares from very strong dam lines, many of which had extensive performance careers at the "A" and "AA" circuits themselves. The stallions we breed to are seasoned producers with rankings at the top in their respective disciplines; in 2017 alone, names such as Balou du Rouet, Apiro, Escudo II, Landkoenig, Toronto, Viva Voltaire, and Bliss MF. In addition to offering on-farm leases on these mares, we offer in-utero colt options on most breedings, and have a variety of young horses for sale - from foals through five years old and showing.
If it is not a young horse you seek, but training for the one you already own, the farm offers those services as well. Our program can bring your youngster from wild and unhandled up through showing in the greens and beyond - breaking/starting included. Training methodology focuses on the whole health of the horse - mind and body - to woo the most out of your horse.
We also offer boarding, breeding, starting, and training services for horses of all walks of life. The farm has lush, green pastures on 20 acres with foal-safe fencing, 12x24 foaling stalls, and a diet specifically tailored towards the special needs of the very young, very old, and very pregnant. We also offer breeding stocks, frozen semen storage on-site, foaling out, and assistance getting your mare rebred in conjunction with our veterinarian.
We are only 45 minutes from downtown Dallas and 30 minutes from Sulphur Springs. Greenville and Commerce are just around the corner at about 10 minutes away.
Pasture board starts at $250/month and stall board at $300/month.
Training starts at $750/month, showing not included.
