Gordon I would still consider him green at this point, however, he walk, trots, and canters quietly both under saddle and on the line. I think he would be a great 4-H or hunter project for someone. I have taken him over cross rails and he loves them, he really tucks his knees up. He does well on trail rides he prefers to have company but goes out alone quietly as well. He has no trouble crossing water or ditches.
On the ground, he's the type of horse that walks up to you and follows you everywhere to get attention. He's fine to bathe, worm, and shoe. We are working on clipping and he is getting much better. I would recommend him for a confident advanced beginner on up. He can be nervous in new situations but never does anything stupid and is no means difficult to ride. The more relaxed you, the better he excepts new situations.
