Ross Saddlery & Leather / Tack Shop in Saint Joe, Indiana

The shop is a full service shop, started on June 9, 1959. I build western saddles, and repair both western and english saddles, and also make other repairs as well as will make new tack items, such as bridles, reins, breast collars, and more. Chaps, both shotgun and batwing, as well as chinks, made to order. I also make personal leather items such as belts, wallets, checkbook covers, album covers, hand carved magazine baskets, and other custom items to the client's specifications.

I also offer personal instruction in the carving of leather, as well as a saddlemaking course, where the student will, from scratch, build their own saddle, under my instruction. If I know what you want to learn, I will teach you.

My specialty is the carving of Sheridan style patterns that I create for special orders.
