Nash is a beautiful, intelligent mare with a heartwarming story of resilience. Rescued as a weanling from a kill pen in Arkansas, Nash arrived to my barn terrified and untouchable. I spent countless hours sitting quietly in the field, talking to her and earning her trust. After months of patience, she finally allowed me to touch her — and that trust grew into a bond. She now loves being groomed, scratched (especially her butt!), and spending time with her person.

About Nash:
Temperament: Gentle, smart, and curious, but still cautious in some situations. She thrives on patience, kindness, and consistency.

Experience: I’ve had a 110 lb. person on her with no bucking or resistance — I led her around, and she was calm and cooperative.

Compatibility: Nash gets along well with both mares and geldings. She adores a mini who was born here and is very social in a herd setting.

Training & Handling:
Catches & halters easily in the pasture. Accepts a fly mask, fly boots, splint boots and a winter blanket once she recognizes what they are.


Given her past, she needs someone who u
nderstands and respects her boundaries and continues building her confidence.

Non-Negotiable:
Nash is incredibly special to me, and I will only consider an EXCELLENT, LOVING, and PATIENT home. I will provide a written agreement that gives me first buy-back rights to ensure she never faces uncertainty again.
