Papa Smurf is a 16hh, True Blue Roan, 9 year old, Draft Crossbred gelding. He is a brute weighing over 1200lbs and wearing a #4 shoe in the front and a #3 shoe in the rear. Smurf has been used in a pay to ride, riding camp where he has been ridden by total beginners of all ages. We have taken Smurf on our annual fall roundup where we herded, sorted and worked 200 head of cows and calves. Smurf will open/shut gates, push calves and not get upset if a cow pushes back as we had one get after him and try to push him around some. While out rounding up cattle Jason rode Smurf with only a rein around his neck as noted in one of the pics for over 2 hours just to prove a point to one of his friends who has said that his horse was better broke lol. Dream horses do exist and Aiden is living proof of that! Aiden is a stout built Black Tobiano Paint Draftcross (Quarter Horse X Gypsian) gelding standing around 15.1hh, he is 5 years old and is one the most kind and gentle horses that you will find! Aiden has been in our program since last year and has completed the natural horsemanship training and does liberty work and he also knows some tricks, he will bow, lay down and set on his rump. Aiden has been ridden by all ages of riders and is sure to be a family favorite. If you need your confidence built, Aiden is your guy as he will do the job! He has been ridden down the highways, we have had him in town and he is very traffic safe. Aiden is great on trails and he will cross creeks, ditches, logs and navigate rough rocky areas. He has a smooth jog, a VERY VERY nice easy to set lope, a good stop, spins a circle both ways and backs with ease! He has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too.
