Jordan graduated from the Cornell University Farrier Program in 2013; he is able to continue his education by attending clinics and other events hosted by internationally recognized farriers and veterinarians. Jordan is also a member of the American Farriers Association (AFA), and the Southern New England Farriers Association (SNEFA). He was awarded Apprentice of the year in 2012 and has continued to dedicate his career to providing the best services- to enhance performance and please both the horse and rider. I offer quality barefoot hoof care services, with 13 years of hoof care experience and over 30 years of equine experience. Helping horses have happy heathy hooves! I specialize in corrective trimming of minis and donkeys suffering from founder, laminitis and other hoof distortions. I work with many rescues, and am kind and patience when working with nervous, scared and otherwise difficult equines.

I learned to ride a horse (Baby Bull) when I was four years old. I’ve been involved with horses and riding ever since. Growing up in a business-minded, competitive, disciplined, and artistic family helped me graduate at the top of my class from the Oklahoma State Horseshoeing School. But my equine education doesn’t stop there. I stay up to date as changes in Farrier service techniques are refined and improved by regularly attending seminars, lectures and conventions. In addition to instruction, occupational experience leads me to opportunities like working on what was once the tallest horse in the world (according to the Guinness Book of World Records), Remington, and the former AQHA world champion reining horse, Texas Kicker. I’ve worked on horses at top ranches in the country, including Stuart Ranch (ranked in the top 15 of horse ranches by Western Horseman magazine), the Jud Little Ranch and the Pieper Ranch. Of late, I had the opportunity to shoe for America’s Most Trusted Horseman, John Lyons, as well as, work/shoe extensively with Josh Lyons and the Lyons Legacy program.

Kris Kokal is currently attending Cornell's Farrier program and plans on a May 2016 completion. Kris graduated form Sur Shod Shoeing Academy in 2004 and completed a barefoot trim certification after two years of mentorships and traveling to the UK to complete his studies in 2006. He has 12 years experience working with all breeds as a trainer, trimmer and shoer. Kris is a certified Equine Dental Technician graduating in 2011. Kris hand floats without sedation.

Brothers Kris and Nik Kokal started HorseTenders LLC 2004 as a trim, shoeing and training business when teenagers and quickly earned a reputation for working with horses no one else would work with and doing so in a quiet positive manner. Nik Kokal, put himself through college as a barefoot trimmer, plans a May 2016 graduating from the 5 year DVM program at University of Galsgow.
