I've been a practicing farrier for 9 years and have shod most every breed and discipline possible. I graduated from Mesalands Community College's farrier science program in 2007. I have shod horses in the southwest, northeast, and now the southeast. Along the way I've had the opportunity to shoe ranch horses, rodeo horses, reigners, cow horses, western pleasure horses, hunter under saddle horses, hunters, eventers, and race horses. I am well versed in all aspects of barefoot hoofcare. I have a special interest in laminitic and metabolic horses. I have completed Eleanor Kellon's coursework, including the following courses: NRC Plus, Nutrition as Therapy, Cushings and Insulin Resistance, Understanding Bloodwork, and Comprehensive Care of the Older Horse. I have extensive experience in the application of all types of glue on hoof protection, including EasyCare, Renegade, Epona, and GluShu products.
