For over 20 years, the Topeka Round-Up Club’s Horse N Around Summer Camp has been teaching kids horse safety, western riding, horsemanship, identification, anatomy, breeds, and so much more! Our intensive five-day program is jam packed with riding, horse care, outdoor adventures, field trips(optional), special guests, and lots of learning about horses. HORSE RIDING SUMMER CAMP Tally Ho Equestrian Centre - Leavenworth, KS Early registration and multiple rider/session discounts!

Beginner-Advanced equine enthusiasts ages 5 and up are welcome to attend camp at THEC! Riders have the English or Western riding option. 2014 Camps will be held on several weeks available though June, July and August. Our camp is a 3 day camp (11am-4pm daily) where campers will learn how to feed, groom and tack horses correctly and safely through fun games both on and off the horses. Each child will ride daily and may sign up for multiple sessions. Lots of horsey themed games to enjoy throughout the day while children learn what it's like to care for a horse of their own. More advanced riders will have a lesson session where we work on improving their riding/showing skills, while younger riders will focus on riding safely and playing games in their lessons.

Activites will be lead by Professional instructor Amara Packwood who highly qualified with a B.S. in Equestrian Science and over 12 years of showing horses. She has trained and ridden horses to many local and regional championships in the Hunter/Jumper and other disiplines. We offer fun overnight trail riding horse camps. Come trail ride, swim, fish, cook out and learn about horses. Youth and adult camps are available. All campers will sleep in tents and enjoy campfire cooked meals, call ahead and reserve your spot now, you wont want to miss out!
