We do things differently at GKM Equestrian, you don't just come get on a horse. You'll learn how to properly groom your horse with all the necessary steps to keep them and you looking your best. Next you will learn how to correctly and safely tack up your horse or pony. You will also get to experience many different types of saddles and bridles used in other riding disciplines. Our students are competent and knowledgeable about horse care and safety which allows their learning and riding to blossom with confidence. We are a small, dedicated professional equine facility, so we go for quality not quantity and don't crank out a lot of lessons each day. Summer Session
Looking for fun and an engaging activity for your special needs child during the summer. For all only $100 your child will learn to interact with horses and develop lifelong skills. Lessons will be weekly for one hour. The session will start June 3 to June 30. Possible lesson times are on Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8-11 am or evenings 5:30 to 7:30 pm on Tuesday and Thursday. We offer 5 camps per year you learn to ride in western style by trained instructors in small groups 3 - 4 students per group. Ages 5 to 16 beginners and Advanced riders welcome. Well trained seasoned lesson horses used. Crafts,games and horse care instruction offered daily at camp.
