Horse Camps in Clinton, Indiana (Vermillion County)

Trinity Farm is a family friendly riding facility offering saddleseat riding and horsemanship, while promoting the development of relationships with horses and other horse enthusiasts.

We have regular lessons - group and private available based on riders ability. We ask all new riders to schedule a tour to visit and meet with an instructor, see the facility and get a packet of information on our programs.

In our Summer camp program, for example, campers learn basic horsemanship, horse care and enjoy horse-themed crafts. Camps run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m, Dates are available with reservation forms on our website - trinityfarmindiana.com.

The Trinity Farm gang has been involved with riding and horses as students for over 30 years and as horse owners for almost as long. We moved to our farm in August 2005 to fulfill a dream of owning our own place to raise, ride, train, and share the joy that our equine family has brought to us.

Safety is of utmost concern whenever involved with these large animals. All riders will be guided and supervised in proper behavior while around horses. Proper safety around all of our farm animals will be stressed. Our goal is to share our farm and have fun learning about and loving horses.

Horse Day Camps for kids 6yo and up, with more advanced work available for more advanced students. Horses and equipment provided - or use your own! Campers get REAL hands on learning with horses and barn chores. Students will lead, groom, and saddle their own horse before riding each day. While riding students work at their own pace. Learning how to feed, bathe, clean stalls, and etc is included for a full horsemanship education. Educational workbooks, games, and arts-n-crafts round out each day on the farm. There is an air-conditioned barn to escape the heat and an indoor arena for all weather use. Our camp has 8 miles of trails. We have 20 covered stalls with lights and 20 parking spaces with electric. We have 5 corals that go with primitive parking (you are welcome to bring your own fenceing) We have a shelter house with fire place and a kitchen for meals on scheduled rides.
We have modern bathrooms and showers and a large 50 foot round pen for your use. Also an obstacle course is at camp. You must call for reservations. We have no dump and you must fill your tanks in campers before leaving home as we don't do that at camp. As the only Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Int'l) center serving our community, Therapeion Therapeutic Riding Center is the expert in offering riding classes for persons of all ages in Tippecanoe, White, and the surrounding counties.

Our staff is specially trained to provide professional services. Our therapy horses have received hours of training before joining our staff.

Each summer, we offer a horseback riding camp for children ages 5-13. The camp focuses on riding lessons with a qualified instructor, learning how to properly care for a horse (i.e. grooming, feeding, bathing, etc.), arts & crafts, horse-related activities, and outdoor swimming.

Camps for Summer 2011 are the weeks of:
- July 11-15
- July 18-22
- July 25-29

Camps run from 9AM to 2PM Monday through Friday, with a horse show on Friday afternoon for parents to see what their children have learned at camp.
