I have a background in reining, but believe in putting a good, soft, all around handle on my horses. I have show experience in open shows, SHOT(reining, cow horse, trail, pleasure), ranch shows, and competitive trail riding. I am big on natural horsemanship and building a partnership with my horses. Not everyone wants to go show and that’s okay- I still believe in making the horse the best they can be!

My goal is to provide your horse with a solid foundation that will allow them to go in any direction, while also providing you with a safe, willing, and capable partner. All my horses are exposed to pasture riding, trail rides, trail obstacles, and schooling shows if desired.

I am currently working out of a beautiful facility in Boyd, TX. I have either stalls with runs available, or pasture access available. Stalls receive free choice coastal and blue bonnet energized, and pasture has access to a round bale and the same grain twice a day. Blanketing available upon request.

Plenty of references available. Everyone will tell you I’m hardworking and honest with my clients. I am very straightforward- if your horse exhibits dangerous or potentially problematic behaviors, you’ll be the first to know about it. I pride myself on keeping my clients and their horses safe and happy! Training comes with one free lesson a week to ensure horse and rider are on the same page.

I have extensive experience in training: from starting a two year old to training competitive barrel horses.
When I was very young I began competing at playdays and went on to compete in high school rodeo, where I received many awards, college scholarships, ribbons, belt buckles and saddles.
I competed through college and I am currently hauling two competitive barrel horses, both of which I started from two year olds.

Over 20 years experience riding all types of western horses. Have shown both English and Western. I do Colt Starting using the Clinton Anderson Method along with my own experience. My program includes 5 days a week groundwork, manners, round pen work, arena work and pasture riding. I work all horses on trail obstacles, in hand or under saddle. Most all spend time on the patience pole. They will be clipped and groomed regularly. Before your horse goes home I will give you two lessons so you are up to speed on all training and you can continue at home.My fee includes training and full care.
