Horse Boarding in Lake George, Colorado (Park County)

PreView Farm is a small equine facility perfectly situated between Longmont and Boulder. On any given day, you will see riders schooling dressage in the arena or crossing the dirt road to our neighbor’s cross-country course. The next day they may be doing groundwork or hooking up for a trail ride and over the weekend, they may be getting ready for a local show. But… what is a constant every single day… is the horses on the property are meticulously cared for… and we have a ton of fun.

We have a dressage Gold Medalist that comes weekly to train, but you are welcome to bring your own trainer.

The facility has stalls with runs and a large outdoor paddock with a shed. The three separate pastures are irrigated and ideal for turnout in groups or alone.

There is a 100 x 200 outdoor arena (set up for dressage or jumping), a hot/cold wash stall, and a mile long galloping track, miles of dirt roads for hacking, and a cross-country course across the street that boarders can negotiate to use.

We have a few openings available for mellow owners and polite horses — no drama please! We're a small, informal barn with one family horse and boarding for about six.

We provide experienced custom horse care, premium certified weed-free hay, 12 x 12 stalls and loafing sheds with individual runs and pastures with daily turnout year-round (weather permitting). Outdoor large dressage arena (20m x 60m) with shredded rubber crumb footing, a few jumps, two-mile maintained trail around our beautiful 80-acre farm, and close to several Boulder County and City of Boulder open space trails. We are a semi-coop barn community (work down part board by doing an hour or two of barn chores a week). Board includes two flakes of our own beautiful Starlight Farm certified weed-free hay morning and evening, and we'll feed whatever else you'd like your horse to have. Nightly "bed checks," free trailer parking, lots more.

Please note: we are not a retirement facility, for either people or horses. And: both people and horses need to be fully vaccinated :)

Full care horse boarding includes hay 3 times a day(more is the weather is cold and damp), custom feeding program, heated water in the winter, sand clear product, pen cleaning. Most people who come to look comment on the large pens and the friendly horses. There is lots of room to ride, obstacles to train on, and many turnout pastures. Other amenities include, three large outdoor arenas, one lighted; five 60 ft. round pens, one lighted 70 ft. diameter round pen.
Private and group lessons for all ages and skill levels. Ongoing classes in agility, liberty, horsemanship- basics to advanced skills, trail obstacles. Promenade has various drill teams and participates in local parades. Horsemanship camps held during summer, Christmas and spring breaks.
Training philosophy is combination of natural horsemanship and classical dressage, what some call "New Age" horsemanship. Equine biomechanics is used to help students have an understanding of how the horse moves so they can better communicate while working with the horse, but also to keep the horse physically sound so it is rideable into its later years as well as helping it to be a more confident, calmer horse.... CWRS is a full care boarding facility that proudly to offers a very friendly, low-key, relaxed atmosphere that welcomes all disciplines and equines. We have a mix of riders and horses here at CWRS, from jumpers to barrel racers and registered horses to rescue horses. All are welcomed.
CWRS has no barbed wire fencing on the property. The entire 160 acres uses bio polar horse guard electric fencing. There is over 400 acres of surround pasture to ride on with steep and sloping hills, soft sand creak bed, and large flat areas.
We have a 200 x 120 piped riding arena with jumps, barrels, and poles. The arena is groomed regularly. Next to the arena is a 50 foot piped round pen. Miles of dirt roads to ride on.
Boarding and care options fully customizable. Only pay for the services you and your horse need.
We offer multiple horse, Military/Police/Fire discount.
We have a number of boarding options available and have the knowledge and ability to cater to each animals needs. We offer Private Paddocks, Private Pen, and 150 acre Pasture Boarding.
Barns areas and tack rooms are well lit. Trailer parking is available.
