Vet and shoer available, but you may use your own.

I love the older horses, retired or not and go out of my way to make they happy and cherished.

We will also babysit your dog if you have to go away from home and they can't go.

Our boarders are wonderful people, there is no drama, we have lots of good times, relaxing fires with friends to chat with, people to ride with and lots of places to ride.

We have events for fun, trainers come for clinics, we enjoy the horses and each other.

You can also ride your horse from the property to Cave Creek Park with it's miles of trails.

Camelot Riding Academy is an adult focused farm located on the Serene, no stress horse boarding facility in Cottonwood Al, where where the horse and rider comes first. Camelot is not a social club. It is a place to come and enjoy your horse. Camelot is a NO STRESS ZONE. NO DRAMA HERE. IF you bring in a skinny horse I will do everything to help the owner get the horse healthier and fit again. IF the owner s happy with an underweight horse in poor condition, they have been and will always be asked to leave. Tolerating abuse is not done by me. This is a business, yes, of course but one that has a bigger focus than the money. Horses need specific care and I can offer that. I work closely with wonderful veterinarians and farrier. I offer a lot for a little. I can and am quite choosey about who I will allow to share the lands of Camelot.
There is a Formal FULL SIZE Dressage arena as well as a 120 FT round pen are used to school your horses. Instruction is now limited to adults only and the riders' size is taken into consideration for the horse. At this time during the heat of summer, I will accept one rider to ride at 6:30 am. The riding instruction is overseen and given by one person that has over 50+ years of expertise. We teach ALL riding styles from enjoying safe trail riding tips and needs to Dressage lessons in the full size Dressage arena. All riders learn the ways to control and get the very best ways to communicate with the horses while enjoying and having fun! Show, Trail, Retired and horses in need of special care are catered to here.
Individualized feeding programs, grooming and TLC on 30 acres of horse safe lush pastures. Pastures have large run in shelters, individual feeding pens so that every horse gets what it should have with no worries about alpha issues.

We are a small farm with several full board options. Our barn stalls feature 12 x 12 matted stalls, fans, and daily turnout. We have several stalls with attached paddocks for individual and private use. All horses are fed twice daily and have access to hay 24/7. Horses can be turned out at least 8-10 hours a day or more if requested. Because we are a small barn we can tailor your horses needs according to your specifications. Farrier is scheduled every 6-8 weeks depending if trim or shod, or you may schedule your own. Vet and farrier expenses are owners’ responsibility.
