Offering both full size outdoor and indoor riding arenas, heated tack grooming area, large box stalls, grass and dry lot turn-out options along with excellent care. Peaceful boarding facility located in beautiful central Maine!

Pasture board @ $300/month includes rotation through 15 acres of large fields for summer grazing, access to large run in shelters, salt and mineral blocks, hay fed out of spacious, custom hay huts.

Smaller paddock @$400/month offering 24/7 hay, grain and/or supplements fed 1x daily (you provide), blanketing and fly mask application at no extra cost, access to salt and mineral blocks.

3 stalls w/ private runs @$475/month, 24/7 hay, grain and/or supplements fed 1x daily (you provide), blanketing and fly mask application.

On property100x200 outdoor arena, round pen, private farm trails as well as direct access to endless recreational trails.

On farm leasing and temporary vacation board also available! We also have experience boarding minis and can cater to their special, little needs.

Farm owners live on site. We schedule routine group veterinarian, dental and farrier appointments to help with farm calls and will hold your horse(s) if needed. We are passionate about healthy, happy horses and do our best to make this environment helpful and succesful for all owners!

Space available for full care out-door - ($350 per month) boarder or full care stall boarder (stall at night & pasture during the day- $500 per month).
Both options provide private grass paddocks with a private 3-sided run-in shed and electric fence all the way around. Board is full care, includes salt & mineral block, beautiful 1st cutting hay & grain twice daily. Specialized care is given to all residence, we are fully insured, care is given by owners that live on site (this includes night checks).

Wild Child Farm is a family friendly boarding stable and riding school in central Maine. Our horses are stalled at night, turned out all day every day either individually or in pairs/very small groups in dry paddocks or grass pastures. We have a large, bright indoor arena without dust, a large outdoor arena with well drained footing, groomed hacking trails on the property and access to miles of riding trails (no motorized vehicles), a short ride away. We have a lovely revamped 200+ year old barn. 21 Large airy box stalls. 72 x 160 Indoor arena, 100 x 100 outdoor arena as well as a 100 x 200 outdoor jumping arena! We have 135 acres of fields and woods, lots of trails. Full and rough board available. Horses are turned out primarily in large natural pastures and enjoy the ability to run and play in herd. Smaller turnout is available as needed.

We specialize in the hunter/jumper realm with a large lesson program. We host 5-6 shows per year at the farm and we also attend many shows in Maine, NH and Mass. We bring our riders to Downeast Medal Finals, Maine Hunter Jumper FInals, Mass Finals and NH Finals. Those who qualify have also attended New England Finals!

We are fortunate to have a beautiful indoor arena that was built in 2006. At 72 X 160 feet it is big and bright and perfect for riding all year long. This building is a great environment for everyday riding as well as heavy duty training. We have a sand and stonedust footing that has recently been upgraded with Green Gold, a rubber and fiber footing addition that is conducive to all disciplines. The outdoor 100' x 100' arena is next to the large indoor and is perfect for flat work. And our 100' x 200' outdoor arena is set up for hunter jumper training.
