She loves each horse as if they were her own and I am proud to promote and share her place Mystic Acres where you can trail ride directly off of the property on the Withlacoochee State Trail, at 46 miles in length, the Withlacoochee State Trail is presently the longest paved rail-trail in Florida. With a generally flat terrain and many access points, the trail is an ideal venue for all skill and fitness levels of cycling, running, walking and skating and an unpaved equestrian trail parallels portions of the paved trail. The trail corridor traverses three counties (Citrus, Hernando and Pasco), offering an enjoyable, varied journey as it runs through small towns, ranches and six distinct natural communities between Citrus Springs and Trilby. Officially designated as part of the Florida Greenways and Trail System, this State Trail is also a National Recreation Trail® which offers rich opportunities for viewing wildlife and access to many other outstanding recreational opportunities. Among the recreational highlights nearby are the unpaved trails in the Croom area of the Withlacoochee State Forest,

Our new place will offer a large 38 acre farm located near I-75, 1-50, Hwy 41, Withlacoochee State Park, 50 minutes to Tampa International Airport. We are closer to you then you think with many highways traveling North and South to us. Serving New Tampa, Tampa, Lakeland, Spring Hill, and more....Although we have show horses, we are not a fancy show barn. The horses are outside where they love to be in pasture.

We offer pasture board, retirement and vacation boarding. Moving to the Tampa Bay Area, we will receive your family member and care for him until you arrive.

We are happy to work with you to create the care you desire for your family members.

Simplicity Stables is a first class equestrian facility that has something for just about anybody interested in learning or continuing their hunter/jumper riding or western riding, whether just for pleasure or competition. We are not solely an AQHA barn. The staff has competed, trained and shown many years in the open USEF circuit hunters and jumpers. We offer boarding, training, sales and riding lessons for all ages. Our prices are competitive with all the area's other facilities, but we are confident our programs will give you or your child not only fun with riding horses but the education to do so correctly.
Our complete horse show schedule follows through all year with both the local level shows including GOHJA and Horseshows in the Park to the A circuit including HITS. We also attend the AQHA circuit shows with our horses in the Hunter, Lounge line, Equitation, Western Pleasure, Western Riding, Showmanship and Horsemanship divisions. Here at Simplicity Stables, we are very proud of our family-friendly atmosphere with a competitive edge. We promote safety first as well as instruct our riders in the traditional hunt seat riding. Effectiveness is key to the competitive rider and we follow a program that will teach the rider to not only look good but to ride well too. J & D Acres trainer is Robin Brooks. Robin has over 12 years of experience training and teaching riders of all levels and ages. The property includes a privacy fenced concrete block center isle barn with nineteen 12'x 12' stalls, several stalls have a private run-in paddock, flyspray systems, 30 acres of grass pastures, a lighted ring with clay/sand mixture footing, round pen, full bathroom, office, tack rooms and three wash racks for your convenience. Our aim is to provide a safe, clean, friendly atmosphere for all your equestrian needs. Full board only $500/month. Training Board $750/month
