Magnolia Farm is now offering horse pasture boarding to the public, after ten years of caring for our own beloved horses for our summer camp program.

Our "Pasture Boarding Plus" is a unique offering for Milton, as it combines the affordability of pasture boarding with sheltered run-ins, plus some of the services offered with full-service barns, such as daily feeding, medicine administration, & more. We welcome all breeds, disciplines, riding levels, outside trainers & instructors.

We offer a gated equestrian facility; an oversized outdoor arena (~ 110' x 238’) with river sand footing; numerous lush grass fields and turnout paddocks, on over 7 picturesque acres. Facilities include a rustic barn with two tack rooms, ceiling fans, water, electricity, matted grooming and drying stalls, & exterior wash rack. Owner lives on premise.

We are a small barn that incorporates the Paddock Paradise method for horse boarding. If you aren't familiar with this method, please take a peek at our website for all the details. A quick overview: we want to provide horses with three fundamental items - Friends - Forage - Freedom. We have a "track" for the horses that is over a mile long. Having a narrower long path encourages the horses to move much more during the day. They have access to a covered 100 x 200 arena for shade and rolling, plus other shade structures, hay stations, and obstacles. We have 3 large pastures that we can use for a variety of reasons. We do 24/7 turnout because this is what is best for the majority of horses. but we do have 2 large 16x12 stalls that can be used by any horses if needed for medical reasons, or any other short term needs.

We provide bermuda hay 24/7 in slow feed hay nets as we want most of their calories to come from hay as opposed to green grasses. Included is a once a day feeding of timothy pellets (as base) with Vermont Blend Trace Minerals and salt. We are happy to feed other food and supplements if provided by the owner. We have a mixed herd of geldings and mares and take the appropriate time to introduce all the new members of the herd. We don't allow horses to have rear shoes so we can minimize any risk of injuries. We discourage front shoes only because of our use of slow feed hay nets.

Hot/cold wash stall. Small tack room with microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and clean bathroom. Trailer parking available.

Barn is a very quiet friendly environment. We do not live on the property but have a neighbor that watches for anything unusual when we are not there and we have webcams that give me 24/7 access to view the property.

We charge $575 for one horses or $525/horse in families with multiple horses. We do allow, and love, people to help out around the barn to earn discounts off of the monthly board rate.... See More

Our facility is situated on 50 rolling acres with 4 spacious center aisle barns, 3 riding arenas (2 large outdoor and 1 covered) and 17 pastures of varying sizes. Additional ammenties include, 35 matted stalls with ceiling fans, lights and windows that open to outside, two bathrooms, one with shower, eight wash racks with hot and cold running water, and a jumping field for lessons. Laguna Farm offers a safe and friendly environment for both horse and rider.

Our on-site Hunter Jumper professional trainer, Krissy Altenburg, provides lesson and training programs to suite your specific needs. She works to develop technical equestrian skills and teach riders to develop respect, discipline and responsibility. Krissy attends a mix of local and “A” rated shows.

Also teaching at Laguna is Dressage trainer Michael Ippolito. He is a classical FEI dressage trainer and competitor who grounds his riding style on European techniques acquired during his training at the Spanish Riding School in Vienna.
