To that end we offer a variety of boarding, training and lesson packages in the disciplines of Eventing, Dressage, Hunters/Jumpers and Equitation with a range of services to suit individual needs. We also offer lessons and instruction for beginner riders and pleasure riders. We are experienced horsemen and women who take great pride in our services and strive to offer the very best at the most affordable rates. We are a small barn that incorporates the Paddock Paradise method for horse boarding. If you aren't familiar with this method, please take a peek at our website for all the details. A quick overview: we want to provide horses with three fundamental items - Friends - Forage - Freedom. We have a "track" for the horses that is over a mile long. Having a narrower long path encourages the horses to move much more during the day. They have access to a covered 100 x 200 arena for shade and rolling, plus other shade structures, hay stations, and obstacles. We have 3 large pastures that we can use for a variety of reasons. We do 24/7 turnout because this is what is best for the majority of horses. but we do have 2 large 16x12 stalls that can be used by any horses if needed for medical reasons, or any other short term needs.

We provide bermuda hay 24/7 in slow feed hay nets as we want most of their calories to come from hay as opposed to green grasses. Included is a once a day feeding of timothy pellets (as base) with Vermont Blend Trace Minerals and salt. We are happy to feed other food and supplements if provided by the owner. We have a mixed herd of geldings and mares and take the appropriate time to introduce all the new members of the herd. We don't allow horses to have rear shoes so we can minimize any risk of injuries. We discourage front shoes only because of our use of slow feed hay nets.

Hot/cold wash stall. Small tack room with microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and clean bathroom. Trailer parking available.

Barn is a very quiet friendly environment. We do not live on the property but have a neighbor that watches for anything unusual when we are not there and we have webcams that give me 24/7 access to view the property.

We charge $575 for one horses or $525/horse in families with multiple horses. We do allow, and love, people to help out around the barn to earn discounts off of the monthly board rate.... See More

Westover is located close to the intersection of Burnt Hickory Road and Barrett Parkway. It is a beautiful quiet setting just minutes from the Kennesaw Mountain trails. There are a total of twelve acres divided into two pastures and one paddock. Both pastures have access to a large pond. Large pasture has a run-in shelter, smaller pasture has access to stalls with tack rooms. Pasture board only or pasture board with stall available. All 3-board white fencing - no wires. Pastures are cared for by property owner - horse owner must provide for horse's care. Boarders have a large refrigerator for their use and a place to wash and groom horses. I have a 256 acre Horse farm in Dallas Georgia 30132. I have 3 Lakes that my Grandfather built in the 1950's and 1960's because my Grandmother loved to fish. The biggest lake is 11 acres and the next is 8 acres and the last is 7 acres. These are available for fishing for a small fee. I also have a beautiful winding creek that runs through the property and all of these are the natural water sources for the horses. I have 3 round pens for ground work and a tack room. I have a 10,000 sq ft hay barn and a hospital stall if needed. I feed excellent quality hay that I raise on the farm from November through March. I have 7 pastures ranging from 11 acres to as large as 20 acres. Each Pasture has access to its own water source being either lake or creek. I have 12 acres of trails on the front of the Property and 63 acres of Trails on the back of the property. Also the property has lots of dirt roads less than a half a mile from the property that are also available for riding on through the woods. It is a very beautiful and peaceful laid back place to come and board if you are interested in boarding your horse at a place with Trails for riding. There is no barn drama here and most of my boarders have been with me for 8 to 10 years so it is an awesome and friendly atmosphere. The board fee is $150.00 per month per head for 7 months out of the year. In the winter months it goes to $250.00 per head to cover the hay that I put out in hay rings for the horses.
