Ardmore Farm is a full service boarding and training facility conveniently located on Route 20, approximately 3 miles west of Route 23 in Marengo.  We offer hunter/ jumper lessons from an ARIA certified riding instructor on your own horse or on one of our quality school horses. A western trainer is also available for lessons upon your request.At Ardmore Farm, we take pride in providing quality care for your horse. Inside board is available in 12 X 12 matted stalls and pasture board  is also offered for your horse that prefers to live outside. Hay is fed three times daily and horses are turned out and stalls are cleaned seven days a week. We offer both self service and full service care for your horse.  Our facility hosts a  72 X 140 brand new indoor riding arena and a 100 X 150 outdoor riding arena.  We also have a well maintained ¼ mile track.  There is an inside wash rack and grooming area available for you to use.The riders and horses at Ardmore Farm  benefit from a comprehensive program that is tailored to fit the needs of the horses and the goals of their riders.  They receive the individual attention and quality instruction that has been proven to lead to continuous improvement in and out of the show ring.  The professional staff at Ardmore Farm is committed to providing students with a safe and  positive environment in which to learn and have fun.  We focus on building  well rounded riders by not only teaching students to ride, but by also taking the time to educated riders on grooming, tacking, and care of the horse.  We offer lessons for children and adults no matter what your level of riding is.  Whether you have never been on a horse or you’re ready for the show ring, we have a program suited for you.... Monthly board is $500. Invitation Stable provides full care, and individual turnout (weather permitting.) Dry lots. Quality hay and low starch grain 2xs daily. Please call or text to discuss your boarding needs and to set up a facility tour. We don't get your contact info so please call/text us.
Amenities include a large Indoor and a sizable outdoor arena, a working round pen, trot poles, cavalettis, cow flag, heated washroom, enclosed tack room and trailer parking. Groomed trails on property and within close proximity to several Forest Preserves.
We have great operating hours, especially for those outside a 9-5 job and open on Holidays. Outside trainers welcome with proof of insurance.
Invitation Stables has a trainer come in for weekly lessons and a natural horsemanship trainer that comes in monthly. You can bring your own farrier and vet. Owner lives on premise. Invitation Stable employee lives on premise, and provides nightly security, health and water checks.

We are a small professional boarding facility that offers all of the amenities of a large stable without the crowds to a select and limited group of clients. Our farm has a 62x150 Coverall Indoor arena, large outdoor sand arena, 50ft round pen, 1.25 mile riding path around the property, wash bay and easy access trailer storage.
The horses enjoy all day small group turn out in large dry lots, pasture grazing in season. Our stalls all have heated auto waterers, rubber matts, 1/2 grill walls, and dual dutch door stalls. We offer home grown high quality alfalfa/grass hay, beet pulp/alfalfa pellets/oats or/and Purina feeds.
