Horses eat three times per day to sustain proper metabolism year round. There is a large 70x120 indoor arena to enjoy that has proper footing, lights, seating, fans, and heaters. A separate tack barn is available for boarders, that is heated and cooled to store tack, as well as a refrigerator/freezer, microwave, and a library of horse magazines, books, and video's. The stable is located within a 7-10min walk of Southwestway Park which is an Indy Park that has miles free horse trails. The park goes along White River, Winding River Golf Course, to White River Bridge, Cotton Wood Lakes, and has lots of hills. There are two trainers/instructors and one lives on site. We have heated water buckets in every stall and heated water in the field in the winter. The farrier visits every two weeks and the vet lives very close. D-n-K Horse Farms LLC prides itself to be an exclusive barn providing unique services such as: on site cattle, heated stable, indoor and outdoor arenas, large pastures, daily turnouts, and heated lounge area. D-n-K is a diverse training barn; english, hunt seat, western pleasure, showmanship, speed events, roping events, and general riding lessons. We have 18 rubber matted stalls (10X12) in our heated barn, as well as a secondary barn with 5 rubber matted stalls (8X14) and another 4 rubber matted stalls (10X10). Our stalls are picked twice daily and water buckets pulled and cleaned once a week. D-n-K realizes that every horse is different so we let you choose what kind of grain to feed as well as the quanity. We have 6 stalls in total so this guarantees a very private setting for your enjoyment.

Recent updates: Old fencing was replaced with new three board Kentucky Style fencing in July 2016, and stall fronts were updated in September 2023.

There are a total of 16.5 acres divided into 6 pastures to ensure plenty of grazing.

Stalls are custom built with 2” oak boards that include custom steel Dutch doors for plenty of fresh air, only outdoor rated professional style enclosed barn fans are used in the stalls for safety of the horses, -no box fans-, Stalls are bedded with quality pelleted pine bedding, heated water buckets are provided when needed indoors and out, each stall has outlets and LED lights, a tack box is provided for your personal items, a saddle rack is available for your saddle and pad, and a custom personal rodent free grain bin is provided for your feed as well.

Updated LED lighting is located throughout the interior of the barn as well as outdoors. All feeding, stall cleaning, daily horse care inspection, and maintenance is provided by the on site owners.

The facility has a 60X100 indoor riding arena, 110X155 outdoor riding arena, round pen, tack room with saddle racks and bridle hooks, wash area and plenty of acreage to enjoy time outside of the arena with your horse. We offer full board, stall board with turn out and pasture board.

We are a small private barn with limited stalls available. If you are looking for a small family friendly atmosphere we are the place for you. Our focus is on the best care for our horses. And treating our boarders like family. We have 6 acres and an outdoor riding area, the barn sets off the road and is well insulated for the winter and open and breezy for the summer. Fans on all the stalls heated water buckets in the winter. We feed the highest quality grass blend hay we can find and Purina feeds day. We have regular visits from our farrier.
