DUCHESS FARM- is a community designed to provide an extraordinary living environment for homeowners and local residents, who also happen to own horses... and for the animals themselves. For resident horse enthusiasts and others, the equestrian center will offer optional amenities for the upkeep, boarding and training of horses. Duchess Farm Equestrian Center will also offer clinics and personal training for the owners.

The center is an an exceptional facility, meetings, and events with complete with Hunt Course, 252' x 100' Natural Cover Super size Indoor Arena, a Lunge Ring, Working Rings, Heated educational room/office, kitchen, showers, Massage and Exercise rooms, Lounge areas, heated tack, wash rooms, heated viewing areas and a Riding School. This is close to the historic "rail trail" featuring 20 miles of scenic tiding trails, restricted to horses and hikers only.

The facility will also have special emphasis on the involvement of Ulster County Youth Equestrian organizations. Shadowbrook Farms Equine Facility, home of the Think Your RideTM Horsemanship Series, box stalls, daily T/O, indoor/outdoor, round pen, trails, specialized lesson programs & seminars for all disciplines, all levels, professional, knowledgeable care.

We are now closed to boarders but are accepting applications for Private Board in our new barn - expected to be completed by the end of July!! Only three stalls will be available and 4 more paddock board spaces opening. We are a Private Farm and do require an application & interview for potential boarders. We want to make sure we would be a good fit for you and your horse, and to maintain the natural family atmosphere we love so much.
We are currently under construction and will be, in one area or another, over the next year but the majority of big projects will be done well before the cold weather makes its way back to us. The new barn will be completed first along with some new paddocks and pasture board spaces. The 70 x 165 Indoor will be started this summer and will be finshed by Fall 2012. We are also putting in a new all weather outdoor arena and finshing up the cross country schooling course.

We have approximately 20 acres of trails with access to more, we also take frequent field trips to school off the farm. There is a large Motocross Track that has MANY hills and jumps perfect for conditioning your horse as well as a large natural Schooling Water Hazard!
We are offering a few different boarding packages to meet everyone's individual needs but Basic Stall Board will include:

Custom Diet Plan including basic hays. Grain program available.

10x10 matted stalls with skylights

All Stalls open to a new all weather sand run as well as barn aisle

Separate paddock turn out exclusive to stalled horses
Limited turn out in the Indoor during inclement Fall & Winter weather

Elevated Boarding Levels include things such as premium hays & grains as well as blanketing, grooming, bathing, supplementing, exercising and more!

Basic Paddock Board provides horses with constant access to a shelter, first cut 24/7 hay and fresh water. Paddock boarded horses can still receive added services such as graining, blanketing, flymasking/spraying, supplementing etc...

All boarders will have access to both Indoor and Outdoor Arenas as well as the Motocross Track, trails, Cross Country course, Wash Racks, Round Pen and a finished tack space with trunk.

We have approximately 20 acres of trails on top of our above listed amenities, as well as a 60 foot round pen for additional training.

Outside Trainers are welcome however if you are looking for instruction we can provide that at any level as well with either in house lessons or our great freelance Trainers!

BRAMASOLE has On-Call Preventive Veterinary Services,
a regular Equine Dentist, and exceptional Farrier service.
Outside emergency and diagnostic services are available, as well.

Welcome to Grays and Bays Farm, also home of Hauling Tail Horse Transportation! We are a private, 65 acre horse boarding and training facility located in the very southern most region of NYS, next to North East, PA, right on Lake Erie. We provide quality services, in a variety of manners, with top notch experience and facilities. Enjoy a quiet trail ride, or take a dash on our cross country jumping course. Maybe drafts are more your style and you want to go for a nice cart ride through our extensive trail system. We feature an honest 1000 acres of woods, fields, hills and creeks, some with very well established trails, and some open for exploring and all with a panaramic view of Lake Erie. In the winter, come on over for a sleigh ride with one of our placid Belgians. At Grays and Bays, we specialize in eventing, but have experience in all forms of riding, show and recreational including driving, pulling, western gaming, hunting on horseback, roping, cattle games, dressage, extreme cowboy races, hunters and more. Lessons available in English and western disciplines. Horse training and hauling also available. All breeds welcome in our spacious barn. Stalls are a true 12x14 with vaulted ceilings, open door fronts for socialization, and skylights for natural lighting. Turnout is paramount. In the winter, all horses have free choice hay and access to 2 heated 300 gallon stock tacks that are cleaned regularly and kept bug free by the resident goldfish!
