Kristen Parris Eventing is based out of A Deck Above Farm in Mount Airy, MD. The farm is nestled on 52 rolling acres and is where we call home.
The barn amenities include:
6 - 12 x 12 interlocking matter stalls
12 x 18 interlocking matted foaling stall
Automatic heated waterers in each stall
Dutch doors in each stall, all connecting to a small paddock off the barn
Power outlets at each stall
12 x 18 heated tack room with ample amount of storage for tack & equipment & laundry facilities
12 x 12 Wash stall with hot/cold water, heat lamps, vanity sink & oversize drain
12 x 18 Feed Room w/ blanket storage & refrigerator
The facilities amenities include:
Manager/ Trainer lives on premises
90 x 160 Outdoor arena with lights & all weather footing w/ full course of jumps
3 - Large turn-out fields one w/ run-in shed
1 - Smaller Turn-out field
The farms primary focus is training and competing for 3-Day Eventing, but all disciplines welcome!

Enjoy quality care for you and your horse at a top facility in the heart of Frederick County, Maryland. We offer large indoor and outdoor rings with excellent footing. Regulation dressage arena and jumping course are always set in the outdoor ring during the spring, summer and fall. Our 111 acre farm has 35 acres of pasture and trails, including woods with cross country fences. 12 X 12 box stalls with automatic waterers, feeding up to 4 times per day, free choice hay and a selection of feeds from Farmers Cooperative in Frederick are included in board. We also provide a deworming program consistent with industry standards, fly control, blanketing, booting, and supplement/medicine administration at no extra cost.

Facilities include 2 tackrooms with heaters and dehumidifiers, 2 hot /cold wash stalls with heat lamps, observation room, utility room with washer/dryer and bathrooms. Trailer parking included. Large pastures with automatic waterers and small group turnout. Owner and manager live on premises.

We host both open dressage schooling shows and PVDA sponsored schooling shows throughout the year. Bring your trainer, vet and farrier. Fly predators are used from April thru September for fly control. Trails adjacent to Gunpowder State Park and Pretty Boy. Cross Country Course. Full Time Farm Assistant lives on the premises. Feeding 2x/day with Premium feeds (The Mill Sr, Triple Crown Sr, and All Phase pellets). Round bales are in all fields when needed. We provide orchard grass, timothy and alfalfa mix when needed. We are a boarding,training, and hunter/jumper barn offering lessons, leases and horses for sale or consignment. This facility is one the most beautiful places to keep your horses, giving them the chance to be turnout in lush green fields and stay in airy, matted, double mucked, fluffy bedded stalls. Horses are fed up to three times a day. Turnout is flexible allowing your horse to go out in a group or in a private field.
