Skyline Training Stables is a small lesson, training and boarding facility located about 1 mile from Rt. 30 North, in quiet Hampstead, Maryland. We have our own lesson horses, or you can trailer your horse in. Negative Coggins required. Amenities: We have both an indoor ring that is approximately 65 x 160, and an outdoor sand ring that is approximately 110 x 225. A finished, heated tack room is available, wash stall with h/c water, and 10 x 10 matted stalls. 4 spacious grass fields with small herd turn out. The stalls are picked and cleaned daily and high quality hay and feed is fed, with each horse's diet custom designed with care. Water buckets are dumped and cleaned daily. Board includes feed, hay, stall cleaning, turn in/out, fly masks and blankets/sheets put on/changed as needed, determined by weather, not convenience. Smithwick Farm is nearly 100 acres professional horse farm where four of our trained race horses were inducted into the TB Hall of Fame.
