Horse Boarding in Adamstown, Maryland (Frederick County)

We are a family run boarding facility. We have an 80x200 indoor arena as well as an outdoor. Our indoor has dust controlled footing and show quality jumps. Lessons and coaching at shows is available as well as transportation.

We are a small 10 acre farm with wood fencing and a 50 x 75 barn. We are located 5 minutes from Maple Lawn and less than 2 miles from Schooley Mill Equestrian Park. We are offering assisted self care boarding at $350 per a month

Smithwick Farm is nearly 100 acres professional horse farm where four of our trained race horses were inducted into the TB Hall of Fame. We offer field board, self-care full field care (we grain horses), and limited full board. Field care is $100/ ponies and $125/ horses per month, and the self-care is $200 per month. Full field board is $300 per month, and the full board is $500 per month. There is a 5/8, grass breezing area and an advanced timber jumping course. There is TB retraining to stadium jumpers, hunters, and basic dressage, whereby we assist ametuer riders in this process. We our honored to have been invited to have a Pony Club Riding Center. Family oriented, old, historic farm. Full care includes twice a day feeding. We offer boarding, lessons, training, and leasing. Although some of our boarders do show various disciplines from western pleasure through hunters,we are more of a trail/fun barn. We are not a show barn. Very laid back. Children welcome with adult supervision. Weekend trail rides together. Ride our trails to the water(that is part of our property) and take your horse swimming. We believe in leaving our horses out in the pasture with run ins unless the weather is bad. Each Horse is brought in twice daily to their stall for feeding and injury check. All stalls are rubber matted and have fans. Lots of private trails, water view. We currently have 3 openings for mares and geldings [mares and geldings are separated in different pastures] although stalls tend to go quickly. $375 per month.
