Heron's Crest Stables at Forge Works Farm is pleased to announce a new horseback riding lesson program for all ages and abilities! We offer small group and private lessons and we are not the typical cookie cutter riding program. Our focus is on safety first, to learn proper horse care, horsemanship, to understand the equipment that is used on the horse, and to have fun! We offer training for you and your horse and welcome clients who would like to trailer in for lessons. Horse sales will be available soon and the program will start October 1st! Amanda has been involved in the equine industry for the past 18 years as a horse owner, rider, competitor, manager, coach, and trainer. With riding background encompassing hunters/jumpers, equitation, western/english pleasure, eventing, competitive trail, dressage and driving, she is a well-rounded and open-minded equestrian, always in search of more learning! Amanda has worked with noted trainers such as Lainey Johnson, Susan Williams, Nona Bianchi, Gwenyth Santagate, Diane Marshall, and Melissa Tansey who are also some of the clinicians at FCE. Amanda is in charge of the lesson & training program at the barn and also manages the daily care of the horses.
