Golden Moon Farm is a small horse farm located in the Douglas countryside, available for short term horse boarding and traveling layovers as well as riding in our outdoor and indoor riding arenas that can be rented by the hour, day or weekend and available to rent for equine events. Our Indoor arena has been upgraded with bright LED lighting for extended night riding. We offer short term horse boarding with up to to three indoor stalls with turnout. Masconette Farm is a 26 acre equine boarding and training facility conveniently located off Route 83 in East Longmeadow, Western Massachusetts. We are just minutes from the city of Springfield, MA and close to Somers, Connecticut. We have been in the business of training horses for over 50 years, 2nd generation and welcome all breeds of horses and disciplines—from English to Western, pleasure, trail, competitive, show and carriage driving and all levels of riders. We provide full board care and facilitate means of training, post injury rehab, layover and rehabilitation programs. The facility consists of the large main barn and a second smaller barn with spacious, well lit and ventilated stalls built for horses. Our second to none 1/2 mile stone dust track is SPECIFICALLY constructed for horse training, riding and carriage driving. It is groomed daily so that it is level and smooth for rider safety and comfort. We feature multiple pastures and paddocks with solid fencing and safe gates, spacious run-in shelters, out side wash area, 20 meter round pen for riding and lunging with observation seating, carriage driving and riding track, as well as a small network of on-the-property trails, no roads to cross. Our family farm is located on 40 acres in North Upton Massachusetts. The property directly abuts the 3000 acre Upton State Forest, which connects to the Stefans Farm Conservation area, the Warren Brook Conservation are and the Grafton Land Trust’;s Pell Farm. The farm can house up to 18 horses with 13 residing at the main barn and up to 5 stabled at the small barn. We have 10 cleared acres of grass and dirt paddocks with the remaining 30 acres woodlands and trails. There are two farm ponds suitable for swimming horses in warm weather. Our large sand riding ring has new lights for night time riding. The center aisle barns are bright and airy with skylights and ceiling fans. The barn has separate storage areas for hay and bedding, separate feed room with individual supplement storage and additional loft storage.
