We have a full service boarding facility located 3 miles off of I-69. One mile east of Elba rd. The farm sits on 80 rolling acres with trails thru woods and fields. Our facility is a quarter mile off of Oregon road, in a quiet secluded setting. We are a full care boarding facility with a choice of stall board or pasture board. We have a 60x80 indoor, a 80x175 outdoor,and tack lockers for our boarders. Here your horse comes first! Each horse is feed per their own dietary needs. Horses are grained at least 2x a day and feed hay 3x a day. A de-worming program is included in our boarding prices. We are based in a lovely country setting and have numerous dirt roads to ride on.

We also offer western, hunt seat, dressage and jumping lessons for beginners to advanced riders. There is a Therapeutic Riding Program at our barn for people with special needs! If you are looking for a quiet barn where you don't have to wait for ring time, we may be the right fit for you. Our horses needs are of the utmost importance to us & the care they receive is exceptional. Horses are fed consistently 4-5 times a day for optimal digestion with feed morning and evening, as well as hay, & grass depending on the season. We believe horses are happier outside so unless the weather dictates other wise your horse will be out side 8 hours or more a day. We have a 24x 36 runout shed that your horse can utilize to get out of the sun or bad weather. We also have a regulation dressage indoor arena that is 66 x 200 ft with 6 ft of clear vinyl along the south side for increased natural light & a beautiful environment to ride in. Are you looking for a peaceful place to retire your horse? Whispering Willows Equine Retirement Home offers personalized retirement care for your older horse. We are a very small farm with the capacity of only four retirees so each one is truly a part of the family. Riding is not permitted on the property, but visiting and spending time with your horse is strongly encouraged. Here is what we offer.

Horses live in a lovely, rolling meadow with many trees for shade and a sturdy run-in shed to keep the weather out. A big plus is that there is no mud in the pasture because it is on higher ground than the surrounding land. Unfortunately, we do not have stalls at this time. They are fed good quality grass alfalfa mix hay from a local farm twice a day in the pasture. They are taken separately into the barn, groomed, and fed their grain twice a day with supplements added (if desired by owner). Blankets, if worn, are pulled off and checked at these times. Each horse receives specialized attention and care, complete with plenty of love and carrots.
