44 top-of-the-line European style stalls, half of them with attached turnouts, Our staff is some of the best in the business and has worked closely with veterinarians, nutritionist, builders, and horsemen to ensure top quality care for your horse. 2 large indoor arenas, 1 indoor round pen, heated indoor wash racks, 2 large tack rooms with a washer /dryer and a downstairs lounge (mud room). Upstairs, you will be able to sit in comfort in our large lounge, which will include all of your usual kitchen amenities, Wi-Fi internet, indoor elevated bleachers, a class room, a bunk-bed room with attached bathroom and shower. A “cat walk” type balcony attaches to the upstairs lounge allowing you to walk out and look above the stalls and indoor riding areas. You can call or email us at We are located just 10 west of Grand Rapids, 2 miles off from I-196 west going toward Muskegon, in Marne which is right near Coopersville. We are a small horse boarding stable with personal attention to every horse and even work with babies. Your horse can have a safe rubber matted stall at night and during threatening weather. Indoor board is $375.00 per month. In the summer there are six different pastures for daily turnout. Horses are turned out, mares with mare and geldings with geldings.. They have hay, grass and water available to them. We do your supplements at their night time feeding. We have our horses on a rotational worming schedule. We have a moderate sized indoor arena for riding in inclement weather and a large out door arena for the summer time riding. We tack up horses in their individual stalls and have areas for your tack to be on site. We have a warm/cold wash area for washing your horses or taking care of any injuries. We have trainers available to meet your specific needs. Windmill Acres also has a group farrier. We have a vet within 10 minutes of the farm and try to group our vet visits to help defray any of the costs. We do provide outdoor pasture board at $250.00 which is everything but the overnight stalls. We also own a homozygous registered paint stallion that resides at the trainers house for stud service.
