Roomy stall with outside window, fresh bedding everyday
Daily turnout onto grass paddock with run-in shed and water

Fresh running water

All boarders have free access to the well-maintained half-mile training track, the lighted riding arena with jumps, and the large jump field. There are, of course, miles of trails into forest land.

All disciplines are welcome: English, Western, Hunter-Jumper, Dressage. Children and beginners are welcome.
There is a friendly and professional staff, under the guidance of Ginette Michelet, who has 35 years
with horses. She has competed successfully in Eventing and Dressage. She is known for her training of young horses and re-schooling of older ones. Her riding lessons are a fun learning experience for rider and horse.
There are horses available for sale, lease and half-board.

Green Acres Horse Farm is the home of Horsemanship4Life.com an online learning academy for equestrians of all disciplines. The farm is also conveniently located right next to Higbee Beach preserve which includes riding trails to Higbee Beach. In addition to our 100 x 200 indoor riding arena and 50 ft indoor round pen, we have an outdoor honeycomb for riding patterns and liberty work, a track around the pastures for riding cross country training jumps in and out of pastures and straight line canter work. You are welcome to invite your own trainers with appropriate vetting. We have a canopied pasture for day time summer turn out for horses that can't be out all night as well as dry lots. There is a heated tack room for boarders as well as a heated viewing room. We have state of the art filming equipment to record your lessons for future review on line thru Horsemanship4Life, where ever there is wifi you can view your lessons on, computers, phones, and tablets. Every horse is given personalized care and attention to suite their needs. Top quality hay and grain are provided and lunch can be given at no extra charge. We also have beet pulp available and we bran once a week, unless requested by owner not to do so. Horses are also carefully monitored and looked over everyday so you can feel comfortable with entrusting us with your horses welfare.
