Hello,
I have an old backyard stable that needs some work (I will pay for the renovations, and I will renovate to your preferences), but would like to have a confirmed subletter first. I am looking for $500 per month for 1 horse (taking 2 horses max), or $900 per month for 2 horses in the same family. I can fence in 2-5 acres for pasture boarding. The stable currently has ~6 old stalls, but I am open to just making them larger for 1 or 2 horses. The building is just an eye sore right now, but I do not yet have the time to dedicate to horses and I would like to see it used. I may plan to get my own smaller animals in 3-5 years, but there should still be enough room. I do not ride, but I am a licensed veterinary technician, and I have volunteered at horse farms in the past (I can halter, turn out, fill waters, muck stalls, feed, recognize common health ailments, etc.) The property is 12 acres but we have neighboring public land/woods and some fields that can potentially be used for trails. I can dedicate ~15-20 minutes a day currently, for opening the stall in the morning to the pasture, refreshing food/water, and locking up at night. I would prefer someone that plans to visit 3-7x a week and does the stall mucking. If there is an emergency and you cannot make it I will absolutely do what is needed. Equine Boarding and Rehabilitation

We offer a variety of boarding options for trail riding, retired horses and horses recovering from injury or illness. We accommodate a maximum of four horses at one time to enable us to provide close personal attention to them. The horses enjoy 8-10 acres of pasture with 3-rail oak fencing, run-in stalls and sheds and automatic, heated waterers. There is plenty of grass in summer and we provide free choice hay in the winter. The horse barn has four stalls as well as a washing area with heating lamps.

Very reasonable boarding fee includes daily grain with medication and supplement feeding, free-feed hay in winter, fecal egg counts, deworming as needed, fly control and hoof trims.

There are extensive trails available for riding directly from the property. A round pen is available for use as well.

Retirement / Turnout / Lay-up Boarding

​Full turnout is catered for in large paddocks with automatic waterers and access to a run-in shed. When boarding with us, for your convenience, Dr. Tina can provide selected routine veterinary services and supervision.

RY Farms is a beautiful equestrian facility located in Warwick, NY only 50 miles from New York City. Our staff is dedicated to caring for your horses year round.
