Boots and Saddles Boarding Facility is located along the shawangunk mountains. We are on 110 acres with trails out back. We have 27 stalls which are very airy, matted and have automatic heated Nelson waterers and feeders. The barn has automatic Pyrahna fly spray system. Large outdoor riding ring with sprinkler system and lights. Barns have rubber pavers which is great on your horse no stress of standing on concrete. We use streufex horse bedding along with nice non-dusty sawdust. Stalls and water are cleaned daily, We have nice quality hay and grain. Your horses are pampered here as if there our own. We combine liberty work, classical dressage, ranch work, and natural horsemanship to reset the minds and bodies of troubled horses and provide them with a healthy, versatile education.

Our facility is designed to help horses heal, learn, and bond with their human companions. We have a 70-foot enclosed round pen with viewing area, a brand new all weather arena with TravelRight footing, a hunt/obstacle course, and training trails. Our home farm family is a small group of like-minded people interested in building quality relationships with their horses. We only take on a few boarders at a time to keep things quiet and conducive for learning.

Horses live in a social atmosphere and are given quality care based on their individual needs. Along with regularly scheduled sessions, their education is immersed into their lifestyle and daily handling. DUCHESS FARM- is a community designed to provide an extraordinary living environment for homeowners and local residents, who also happen to own horses... and for the animals themselves. For resident horse enthusiasts and others, the equestrian center will offer optional amenities for the upkeep, boarding and training of horses. Duchess Farm Equestrian Center will also offer clinics and personal training for the owners.

The center is an an exceptional facility, meetings, and events with complete with Hunt Course, 252' x 100' Natural Cover Super size Indoor Arena, a Lunge Ring, Working Rings, Heated educational room/office, kitchen, showers, Massage and Exercise rooms, Lounge areas, heated tack, wash rooms, heated viewing areas and a Riding School. This is close to the historic "rail trail" featuring 20 miles of scenic tiding trails, restricted to horses and hikers only.

The facility will also have special emphasis on the involvement of Ulster County Youth Equestrian organizations.
