Commercial horse boarding business with big time friendly atmosphere. Green Gate Farm is a clean, safe, drama free and friendly boarding facility. We have been boarding horses on this property for 25 years and boarding in general for 30 years. We have very well trained and highly experienced adults supervising, cleaning, training and giving lessons at our facility. Owners live on the property and are very active in the day-to-day operation. Horses are grained and hayed 7am and 7 pm with turnout on rotated grass pasture for 4 -6 hours per day. Extra hay is given when turn out is not possible. We have a 140 long indoor arena, 100x200 outdoor arena, and newly installed 60 ft round pen. All footing is maintained weekly and addressed yearly. The twenty acre complex features a nineteen-stall barn with an adjacent spacious indoor riding arena, numerous pastures and paddocks, and ample access to trails and outdoor riding. Our facility is flexible enough to offer specialized boarding for both layup and rehabilitation, offering stalls with small attached outdoor enclosures along with paddocks for monitored or limited turnout. Stalls are constructed with removable walls, making them suitable for breeding and foaling. We are also pleased to offer the benefit of access to shoeing services from Hammer & Anvil, owned and operated by Paul Batz. We are a family orientated farm on 30 acres of beautiful pastures and woods. We currently can house 12 horses. we provide a safe and secure environment for your horse as well as individualized care. We have 10x10 stalls in main barn and 12x12 stall in a second barn. We are close to the Oswego/Cayuga County trails, we have some short trails on premises. If you enjoy riding the roads they are quite with minimal traffic. We provide full board at $400 a month which included daily turnout, 2x day feeding, hay, stalls cleaned. Winter’s Night Farm has boarding openings in Cohocton NY! ??? We offer full care stall or field board, as detailed below. Our facility has a large barn with grooming bays, a heated lounge and bathroom, a lighted 60x130’ indoor arena, barrels and a full set of show jumps that can be set up in the arena or jump field, and trail obstacles. We have 100 acres and access to dozens of miles of trails, fields, and dirt roads to ride out on from the farm! There is an outdoor round-pen and dressage arena with grass footing available seasonably. We foster a friendly and welcoming atmosphere with boarders of all levels and disciplines. We are a family run operation and have many years of experiences professionally working in horse care. The owners live on-site and conduct daily checks of each horse’s body/wellness. Our farm is conveniently located between Hornell and Cohocton.

Board details:
?Stabled in a 12x12 stall with mats, pine bedding, fan in summer, heated bucket, and cleaned daily. Turned out half the day (nights during the summer, day during the winter)
?Turnout in small groups in large pastures with auto water/heated tanks, run in sheds, and round bales during the winter. We added 6 acres of additional pasture and a new 30ft run in shed this year!
?Grain of your choice fed 2x per day, along with any supplements provided. Fed ample 2nd or 1st cut hay while in stall.
?Includes blanketing, applying fly spray, masks, ect. throughout the seasons.
?On-site skilled and experienced farrier, but welcome to use your own.
?Outside trainers are welcome as long as they are insured.
