We provide 24/7 service on a 12 acre property. During spring and summer, the horses graze on our lush fields. You will find our base price extremely competitive for boarding, and retirement. Each horse is cared for, as if they were our own. Retirement of all horses types are part of our program. We offer, lay-ups, and lay-overs. Hello,
I have an old backyard stable that needs some work (I will pay for the renovations, and I will renovate to your preferences), but would like to have a confirmed subletter first. I am looking for $500 per month for 1 horse (taking 2 horses max), or $900 per month for 2 horses in the same family. I can fence in 2-5 acres for pasture boarding. The stable currently has ~6 old stalls, but I am open to just making them larger for 1 or 2 horses. The building is just an eye sore right now, but I do not yet have the time to dedicate to horses and I would like to see it used. I may plan to get my own smaller animals in 3-5 years, but there should still be enough room. I do not ride, but I am a licensed veterinary technician, and I have volunteered at horse farms in the past (I can halter, turn out, fill waters, muck stalls, feed, recognize common health ailments, etc.) The property is 12 acres but we have neighboring public land/woods and some fields that can potentially be used for trails. I can dedicate ~15-20 minutes a day currently, for opening the stall in the morning to the pasture, refreshing food/water, and locking up at night. I would prefer someone that plans to visit 3-7x a week and does the stall mucking. If there is an emergency and you cannot make it I will absolutely do what is needed. Boots and Saddles Boarding Facility is located along the shawangunk mountains. We are on 110 acres with trails out back. We have 27 stalls which are very airy, matted and have automatic heated Nelson waterers and feeders. The barn has automatic Pyrahna fly spray system. Large outdoor riding ring with sprinkler system and lights. Barns have rubber pavers which is great on your horse no stress of standing on concrete. We offer turn out board which is $275.00 per month. The horses live outside with a run in shed. They get grain twice a day, unlimited hay and/or grass and of course water!
We also have full board which is $450.00 per month. Horses on full board are outside most of the day and in at night. We grain them in the AM and then turn them out with hay and/or grass all day and then bring them in, grain them and give them hay. We can adjust the turn out schedule to your horses needs.
Other grooming and exercising services available.
Owners are welcome 24 hours/7 days a week. Owner operated.
Our facility has a outdoor arena and trails. We offer transportation at reasonable rates.
